Mountain Dulcimer - Private Lessons - MARCH - Kids & Teens - 30 Min.

Ages 7 - 17
These 30-minute private lessons are for individuals of all skill levels who are looking to learn the dulcimer or expand upon what they already know. Students will learn the basics of the dulcimer, as well as more advanced techniques tailored to everyone's needs. The material covered will explore playing melodies and chords, using different tunings, and techniques to further develop playing.
Students will need to supply their own dulcimer, strings, and picks.
Four classes, one per week. Sessions will re-start every 4 weeks. You may register for additional sessions at your leisure.
Once you register for the class, you will receive an email or phone call to schedule your day and time for lessons. Four lessons/dates will be scheduled in this series. Lessons will restart each month.

Glass Fusion - Cat Dish

Grade 9 - Adult
Your cat deserves a dish of its own!! Everything you will need is included in this two-hour glass fusion workshop. Each student will make a one-of-a- kind dish for their beloved fur baby! All materials are included and fired projects will be available two weeks after class.

Fireside Foot Stool
with Carolyn Lowe
4th Grade - Adult
Instructor Carolyn Lowe will be sharing old skills with new friends in this four-hour workshop as well as discussing the history of the foot stool and talking about the materials used for the project. Specifically for beginners, students will learn basic weaving skills such as how to follow a pattern. Students will be using natural and colored reed which will make a lovely traditional pattern. All materials are provided. This foot stool will be a great keepsake or gift. Instructor Carolyn Lowe would like to invite participants to come individually or with a young person (4th - 12th grade) to learn this traditional art form together in hopes of passing on this artform. If coming with another person, you will work on your project together.

Clay - Flower Bells Garden Art Series

Come create a beautiful organic bell-shaped flower that is meant to be displayed in your garden area on a shepherd's hook. We will use hand building techniques and decorate with vibrant colors. All materials and firings will be included. Your beautiful creations will be ready for your home by Easter. Take all 3 Garden Art classes to create a series of works to display together.

Students will learn basic terminology and foundational aspects of playing chords and melodies on guitar. Class is less theory and more practical application but can also be adapted to the needs and wants of each student. Students will need to supply their own guitar, strings, and picks.

Sing with confidence. Students will learn proper vocal techniques. There will be a focus on the four basic principles of singing: breath support, relaxed vocal cords, diction, and ear training.

Celtic/Old-Time Fiddle - Private Lessons - APRIL - All Ages - 60 Min.

These 60-minute private lessons are for individuals of any skill level who are looking to learn, build upon, or get reacquainted with the basics of old time, Scottish, or Irish fiddle music. We will also explore more advanced techniques as we work through tunes tailored to everyone’s needs.
Students will need to bring their own fiddle, bow, and rosin. A folder, pencil, and recording device are recommended as well.
Four classes, one per week. Sessions will re-start every 4 weeks. You may register for additional sessions at your leisure.
