Grades 9 - Adult

This class continues the study of watercolor techniques introduced in Fall Semester’s Intermediate level class. Students will also learn how to use additional illustration and paint media such as gouache, chalk pastel, pen and ink, watercolor pencils, collage, and other interesting media incorporated with watercolor. The class is open to all students who wish to experience water painting techniques. In-person instruction includes step-by-step projects designed to guide you through the painting process from start to finish. The course will offer a variety of special techniques and approaches to making paintings of different subjects. Students will work on paintings along with the instructor as she demonstrates the steps. Supplies are provided.

Grades 9 - Adult

This is a class for students who would like to explore watercolor painting from home. Students will also learn how to use additional illustration media such as pastel, watercolor pencils, and pen and ink incorporated with watercolor. The class is open to all students who wish to experience water painting techniques. Zoom instruction includes step-by-step projects designed to guide you through the painting process from start to finish. The course will offer a variety of special techniques and approaches to making paintings of different subjects. Students will work on paintings along with the instructor as she demonstrates the steps. You will also receive emails with detailed information and examples so that you may practice further or complete a piece at home. Each session will also be recorded. Students will receive a supply list after they register.

Cost is $118 plus supplies.

Adult

In this class, oil and acrylic painters will explore different color strategies to express one subject in multiple ways.  Subjects will include color harmony, color grouping and limited palette to name a few.  Some supplies will be available, but students are encouraged to bring their own regular painting set up.  Best suited for advanced beginners and intermediate students.

Grades 9 - Adult

This 4-day Impasto painting and mosaic workshop is for the person who wants to try painting and mosaics without having prior knowledge of either.  Students will be creating a beautiful bouquet of flowers using water-soluble oil paint in a mosaic vase.  The style is intuitive, casual, and abstract.  The canvas is a 12x16" flat board which will fit a frame of your choice (not included).  This is a great workshop to take with family or friends!
