SPRING 2026
Clay - Beginning to Intermediate Wheel
with Jess Parks

Adult
This class is for students who have taken the beginning class previously but may not be ready to move on to an intermediate or advanced class. Students will continue their knowledge and skills to create functional and decorative wares from clay. We will do at least five projects and students will have the opportunity to throw on the wheel. Decoration with surface textures, handles, and glaze examples will be discussed. Every class will create different forms, and students will learn how to understand clay's versatility. You will have a chance to throw, trim, and modify a pot. After the fifth meeting, projects will be bisque fired. The last night is left for glazing. If you are interested in taking a clay class and would like to explore your creativity and enhance your skill this class may be for you. Only 6 spots available. A wheel is available for each student.
