Mountain Dulcimer - Private Lessons - AUGUST - Kids & Teens - 30 Min.

Ages 7 - 17
These 30-minute private lessons are for individuals of all skill levels who are looking to learn the dulcimer or expand upon what they already know. Students will learn the basics of the dulcimer, as well as more advanced techniques tailored to everyone's needs. The material covered will explore playing melodies and chords, using different tunings, and techniques to further develop playing.
Students will need to supply their own dulcimer, strings, and picks.
Four classes, one per week. Sessions will re-start every 4 weeks. You may register for additional sessions at your leisure.
Once you register for the class, you will receive an email or phone call to schedule your day and time for lessons. Four lessons/dates will be scheduled in this series. Lessons will restart each month.
Go ahead and register for future months if you wish. There are no refunds or make-up for missed lessons.

Vocal Lessons - Private Lessons - AUGUST - All Ages - 60 Min.

These 60-minute private vocal lessons are for individuals of all skill levels who are looking for an easy-going, fun environment.
Students will learn to sing with confidence. Students will learn proper vocal techniques. There will be a focus on the four basic principles of singing: breath support, relaxed vocal cords, diction, and ear training.
Four classes, one per week. Sessions will re-start every 4 weeks. You may register for additional sessions at your leisure.

Adventures in Drawing with Pencils and Pens

Grades 9 - ADULT
This class will explore creative techniques for how to draw a variety of subjects with graphite pencils and ink pens. Students will also learn ways to add color to some artworks with colored pencils and colored inks. The lessons include tips on how artists use line, shading, texture, composition, and observation to create everything from a fun and flowing loose sketch to a more detailed illustration. This class is suited for both beginners who wish to learn and grow basic drawing skills and those more experienced students who seek to hone their skills and try new things! No supplies are required.

Basic Drawing

In Basic Drawing we will explore the basics that will become the foundation of every drawing you do from then on. You will learn to identify the basic shapes that make up your subject, assign space to those shapes, pick a light source and accurately develop strong values that will bring your drawings to life. Oil Painting for Beginners

In Oil Painting For Beginners, students will be inspired to continue on their painting journey. Painting mysteries will be unlocked and challenging questions will find answers and tools will be explained. This course will help students learn how to start a painting the right way, how to organize their pallet, how to place their subjects on the canvas and progress to modelling and finally detail work. Students will receive a supply list after they register.
The cost is $315 plus supplies.

Watercolor with Mixed Media - Intermediate Level - ONLINE CLASS

Grades 9 - Adult
This is a class for students who would like to explore watercolor painting from home. Students will also learn how to use additional mixed media such as color inks, watercolor pencils, and other media and techniques incorporated with watercolor. The class is open to all students who wish to experience water painting techniques. Zoom instruction includes step-by-step projects designed to guide you through the painting process from start to finish. The course will offer a variety of special techniques and approaches to making paintings of different subjects. Students will work on paintings along with the instructor as she demonstrates the steps. You will also receive emails with detailed information and examples so that you may practice further or complete a piece at home. Each session will also be recorded. Students will receive a supply list after they register.
The cost is $133 plus supplies.

Clay - Beginning Throwing

Shake off stress and develop a new skill. Open to all levels of throwing experience. This class will cover the basic foundations of throwing on the potter's wheel. Only 6 spots available. A wheel is available for each student.
