Garden Mushrooms Decorating and Design

Grade 9- Adult
During this one-day workshop, students will explore their creative side by decorating and personalizing their own clay mushrooms for their garden or home. Students will receive two pre-constructed clay mushrooms that they design and decorate using stamps, stencils, and other tools. All student work will be finished with a beautiful glaze and fired to perfection. Fired projects may be picked up two weeks after class.

Pottery Wheel - Bowls - 2 Day Workshop

Grades 5 -Adult
Enjoy a relaxing two-day workshop creating beautiful bowls! Students will spend the first day on the potter’s wheel creating bowl forms. On day two, students will trim bowls on the wheel and learn decorating techniques. The goal is for each student to accomplish making 3 – 5 ceramic bowls. Masks will be required due to close contact during demonstrations and one-on-one instruction.

Ceramic Tray Decorating

Grade 9- Adult
During this two-hour workshop, students will design and decorate a long serving platter. Explore your creative side by adding handles, surface texture, and personal touches. Each dish will be fired and glazed to enjoy for years to come. Fired projects may be picked up two weeks after class.

Glass Fusion - Garden Stakes

Grade 9- Adult
A two-hour glass fusion workshop making decorative glass stakes for your garden or house. Each student can make up to four garden stakes. All materials are included and fired projects will be available two weeks after class.

Pottery Basics - Daytime Class - Session B

Grade 6- Adult
This wheel throwing class is for older school aged children and adults. Classes will focus on creating basic traditional pottery using the potter’s wheel. Over the six-week course participants will learn the basic forms thrown on the pottery wheel, cylinders, bowls and plates. Students will also learn pottery terms and the firing process. Masks will be required due to close contact during demonstrations and one-on-one instruction.

Pottery Wheel - Casserole Dish - 2 Day Workshop

Grades 5 -Adult
Enjoy a relaxing two-day workshop creating two beautiful casserole dishes! Students will spend the first day on the potter’s wheel creating the casserole forms. On day two, students will assemble dishes and learn decorating techniques. The goal is for each student to accomplish making two casserole dishes. Masks will be required due to close contact during demonstrations and one-on-one instruction.

Ceramic Garden Art Workshop

Grade 5- Adult
In this workshop, students will have the option to create a flower stake that can be used decoratively or as a bird feeder or bird bath. Be creative and use it in your garden or home. Projects will be built out of clay by hand and decorated in class. All projects will get a sealing coat of glaze and fully fired to withstand the outside elements.

Casting and Mold Making with Plaster - Workshop

Grades9 - Adult
Learn how to make a simple 2-piece plaster mold of a small 3-D, solid item. Each step of the process will be discussed and executed with the instructor’s assistance. After making the mold, wet plaster will then be poured into the cavity, to create your own unique cast. All materials and tools will be supplied.
