Pottery Wheel - Casserole Dish - 2 Day Workshop

Grades 5 -Adult
Enjoy a relaxing two-day workshop creating two beautiful casserole dishes! Students will spend the first day on the potter’s wheel creating the casserole forms. On day two, students will assemble dishes and learn decorating techniques. The goal is for each student to accomplish making two casserole dishes. Masks will be required due to close contact during demonstrations and one-on-one instruction.

Glass Fusion - Spring Plate

Grade 9- Adult
A two-hour glass fusion workshop making decorative spring plate for your home or for a gift. Plates can be used for serving food or a decorative piece for everyone to see! Each student will make one plate. All materials are included and fired projects will be available two weeks after class.

Ceramic Garden Art Workshop

Grade 5- Adult
In this workshop, students will have the option to create a flower stake that can be used decoratively or as a bird feeder or bird bath. Be creative and use it in your garden or home. Projects will be built out of clay by hand and decorated in class. All projects will get a sealing coat of glaze and fully fired to withstand the outside elements.

Healing Soaps

9th Grade - Adult
In this class sutdents will learn how to make a magical, supercharged, artisan soap using herbs, essential oils, quartz or other stones, and love! Students will learn the benefits of purifying your sking and learn which ingredients stimulate the skin to restore tone and texture. Students will also learn about healing properties of various essential oils and stones. Each student will take home two soaps by using their choice of two oils and two stones.

Clay Buddies

Grades K- 2
This entry level clay class is for the youngest of elementary school age children. Each class will be project based to introduce young children to different clay working techniques. Children will learn planning and decorating techniques to complete projects. Masks will be required due to close contact during demonstrations and one-on-one instruction.

Mixed Media Drawing - Session 2

Grade 6- Adult
Our new Mixed Media class builds upon a foundation of drawing, while expanding the possibilities with a multitude of mediums. Students will learn how to create varying degrees of line width using pen & ink; while also being introduced to brush pens -- creating smooth, flowing energetic lines. A world of color, texture and composition will be explored, using techniques from printmaking, painting and even textiles! Students are encouraged to explore processes such as collage and abstraction. All skill levels and ages are welcome! This class will transition to online if the need arises.

Casting and Mold Making with Plaster - Workshop

Grades9 - Adult
Learn how to make a simple 2-piece plaster mold of a small 3-D, solid item. Each step of the process will be discussed and executed with the instructor’s assistance. After making the mold, wet plaster will then be poured into the cavity, to create your own unique cast. All materials and tools will be supplied.
